This week’s submissions give a sense of movement within dormancy: while we are stuck inside, it seems like time is passing before us. We watch from our windows as the trees bloom, clouds move, and birds lay their eggs. It is easy to feel separate from the environment as it progresses as usual, but we are indeed still a part of it, and in this respite we can also bloom and give birth to new ideas. We are physically isolated, but mentally and spiritually we are still boundless! Nonetheless, it is okay to let yourself drift in this idle place, as I am now. We don’t always need to be moving - this quarantine is especially teaching me that.
